The Chinese Embassy in Kenya has issued a security warning to its citizens residing in the country. The advisory, which was released on Wednesday, encourages Chinese nationals to exercise heightened vigilance in Kenya due to the recent increase in uncertainty regarding the country's security situation.

The translated portion of the advisory emphasizes the following points: "In light of the escalating global concerns, Kenya's domestic security environment has become more unpredictable. The Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Chinese Embassy in Kenya urge Chinese residents in Kenya to closely monitor the local social security conditions, reinforce their personal safety measures, and consider avoiding areas frequented by foreign tourists and crowded locations."

Furthermore, the embassy specifically mentions Mandera, Wajir, Garissa, Lamu counties, and other regions along the Kenyan border as places where Chinese citizens should exercise caution when traveling.
