DCI Publishes 100-Page Investigate Masterpiece, See What It Contains.

Members of the public and police officers had an opportunity to grab copies of the 8th edition of the DCI magazine at the Nairobi International Trade Fair.

Edition 8 is an investigative masterpiece that highlights the great strides that the Directorate is making towards improving the safety and security of all citizens. 

The 100-page publication contains well selected stories that showcase our efforts in investigation of crime and the important role that the Directorate plays in the fight against crime.

Sugarcane Farmers To Receive Their Dues Before December- President Ruto

 President William Ruto has now stated that the government will pay sugar cane farmers who have yet to receive their dues, as part of plans to revitalize sugar companies in the Nyanza region that are facing financial difficulties. The Head of State, on a four-day tour of Luo Nyanza, said the farmers will be paid their dues before December and vowed to deal ruthlessly with the individuals behind Kenya's sugar mess.  "I know sugar companies here owe farmers some Ksh.860.M, I will go look for that money, and we will be back here to pay farmers before December," he said.  At the same time, he stated that the government would announce a new course of action for the sugar companies, pointing out that a government bailout will not provide a long-term solution. Win For Media As Court Nulifies CA Decision To Cesnsor 6 TV Stations.

The High Court has nullified a decision made by the Communications Authority of Kenya (CA) which had previously reprimanded six TV stations for their coverage of live demonstrations organized by Azimio Chief Raila Odinga in March of this year. Citizen TV Logo: IMAGE/COURTESY Justice John Chigiti ruled that the former CA Director General Ezra Chiloba's decision was unlawful as it violated Article 47 of the constitution. This article stipulates that when an administrative action is likely to harm an individual's rights, the administrator must provide the affected person with an opportunity to present their case. However, in this instance, the TV stations were condemned without being given a chance to be heard.
